This is a night of poetry, music, art and film. It is run by the same team behind The Mental Virus Magazine.

TONY WALSH (Poet)                      

This Manchester based poet has shared a bill with Patti Smith, John Cooper Clarke, Saul Williams and Lemn Sissay among others and has been building up his reputation as a poet of the highest quality over the past few years. He’s a winner of numerous ‘Poetry Slams’ around the country and has recently been invited by The British Council, to headline at the national event in Warsaw to mark the 5th anniversary of slam poetry in Poland.

PAUL BIBBY (Music)                        

Paul has recorded 21 solo albums and here presents a selection from his ‘Elementals’ volumes. The albums cover jazz, classical, prog, rock and dance grooves, leaving no musical stone unturned. Using guitar and a live percussive computer suite Paul creates a cosmos of sound that captures the listener in a trance and doesn’t let go till the last note rings out.

TABITHA SIMS (Poet/Comedy/Singer)

A quality performer who uses songs, poetry and comedy leaving the audience not knowing what’s to come next.

 

MICHAEL WILSON (Poet)

A Northern Irish poet from Manchester. A Thoughtful and strong performer who can switch from a poem about cheese sandwiches to one about the back story of an REM song effortlessly.

 

DEGSY JONES (Poet Warrior)         

Karate Poetry? It’s an angle to approach poetry from this Wirral poet warrior, which showcases his control of words, body and mind.
